Recipe Selection #2: Rhubarb and Vegetarian Dishes…
Easter break is finally there. Not that it makes a huge difference for me since I work from home and I continue blogging during bank holidays, but I’m happy to have Nicolas at home too - even though he’s planned to work all day today on the next release of Serial Cooking, the web app. Guinness Time #2 (i.e. the 2nd release) has been postponed a little due to a number of reasons but it shall come very soon. We are working on some very cool features, which I hope you’ll be happy to use.
Anyway, over the past week, I’ve read a lot of appetizing and lovely recipes and I’ve selected a few of them, which I hope will inspire you… Enjoy!

Recipes with this week’s fruit, rhubarb:
- Strawberry & rhubarb cake (Serial Cooking): strawberry and rhubarb is a classic combination.
- Rhubarb tart with walnut pastry (Serial Cooking): I find the walnut pastry interesting and I really should try it one day.
- Rhubarb spice cake (BBC GoodFood): the cake looks moist and I like combining spices and fruits in all sorts of cakes.
- Roasted rhubarb, strawberry, white chocolate & pistachio (Cannelle et Vanille): I love all the pictures from this blog!
Other random posts:
- Perfect panna cotta (David Lebovitz): a dessert that I’ve never made
- Walnut miso noodles (101 Cookbooks): simply looks good!
- Spicy lemon maple salmon (Blue Kitchen): salmon is by far my favourite fish and this recipe sounds delicious
The French link of the week:
- Gratin de légumes au chorizo, chèvre et pignons de pin - Vegetable gratin with chorizo, goat’s cheese and pine nuts (Tomaten Quiche): don’t you want to tuck in when you see this?
Hope this will give you ideas to cook during Easter break!
