What’s this blog for ?
We love food and all things around cooking, design, organic and so on.
First we had the the idea of creating a new recipe sharing web application, and making a blog to promote this.
But there are so many ideas to deal with, that we transform this into a passion sharing.
So, by following us, you’re going to be involved on the Serial Cooking development process, but we are going to share with you our passion for cooking and natural stuff.
YACW (= Yet Another Cooking Website)?
We must admit that there is a lot of cooking website around. Some of them are huge and fantastic, we just want to do better.
We would like to provide you with a real social web application where you’ll be able to discover new cooking cultures, have real recipes finder and recipes suggestion from what you like, and on top of that, we want to wake up the hidden chef in you. Not every one can be Bernard Loiseau or Gordon Ramsay, but everyone can cook fantastic dishes easily and quickly, for all the family and friends.
Another part of this web application will be to provide cooking bloggers an easy and simple way to promote themselves as serious chefs.
So don’t forget to follow Serial Cooking development.
The technical aspect
The Serial Cooking application will be developed with the cool kids framework Ruby On Rails, giving us the possibility to give you the best application in the minimum amount of time.
You’ll probably see (sometimes) some technical posts in the blog. Don’t blame me please, this is my geeky nature coming back.
